Wonderful You Wednesday: Love Me for Me

Welcome to Wonderful You Wednesday at My Life as a Trimommy. This is an ongoing series that focuses on body image and self-esteem.

As a musician I shouldn't be so surprised that music can be so powerful, but still every now and then a particular song will move me much more than I could ever expect.  This song by J.J. Heller is one of those songs.  Listen if you like.

I am so thankful for the people in my life who love me for me.  Despite my faults, which are many, despite my flaws and my quirks, despite my insecurities and my mistakes, they just love me.

One of my goals going forward is to love people just because.  Not for what they have done for me, or what they will do, and despite of what they have done, I will love them because God first loved me.

  1. What an absolutely beautiful song. Thank you for sharing Kelly. Of course I am feeling a bit sappy today, and found myself tearing up while reading Christmas cards at the drugstore. This one pushed me over the edge. A wonderful song, and a powerful message.

  2. if you don't mind I am copying your goal! Love just because

  3. I love this! Thank you for sharing it!

  4. I love you Kelly even though we've had our shares of Squabbles. Just want you to know this. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Woo-hoo!! I want to hear from you!
