The Sunday Report

It is 11:30 p.m., and I am still going.  It's been a long, but fruitful day.  I had a performance this afternoon and a rehearsal this evening, and in between I did my long run at Green Lakes again...and got lost AGAIN!  It's all good, I guess.  I was still running.  I did start to get a little panicked though, when I realized I was running circles.  I finally found my roundabout way back to the car, but it certainly was not the route I had planned.

On the up side, however, today was that day.  You know, the fall day that is beautiful and warm, and all the colors seem a little brighter than they normally are.  It seems there is always one every fall, and today we got it.  Yesterday wasn't so bad either, and we celebrated to heading to Beaver Lake for some pumpkin pancakes and a little hiking.  The boys ended up running quite a bit of the 1.3 mile loop we chose, and it made me get very excited for when we can all go out and run trails together.  I would guess Ryan ran/jogged about 3/4 of the trail and Noah maybe half.  Kel and definitely had to jog to keep up with them at times.  Maybe if Kel was with me, I wouldn't get so lost!!!  After our trip to Beaver Lake, we came home for a little Kona-fest and were basically glued to the computer for the rest of the day.  Awesome!!!  So worth it.

Anyway, it's been a great week. Here are the numbers:
