Well, today is my 36th birthday, and I celebrated with a 3 hour ride early this morning. It was so gorgeous out. There is just something so special about being outside early in the morning. The air is clean, and everything is so peaceful. I also love riding at that time because there is hardly any traffic. I might pass by someone in their jammies getting the paper, but hardly ever any cars. I'm not a fan of the getting up part, but besides that I think I am definitely a morning person!
Anyway, despite my foot issues, I managed to pull of a pretty big week. After my run on Monday, I did 2 more runs in the pool, and I changed my long run to a bike. Here are the numbers:
Swim: 2h 35m 6900 yds
Bike: 10h 8m 41s 124.32 mi
Run: 2h 30m 35s 4.72 mi (1h 45m aqua jogging)
Total: 15h 14m 16s
I also did two 90 minute yoga sessions this week which was amazing. I always forget how much I love yoga until I come back to it. I might try to get even just 10 or 15 minutes in daily and see how that works in my schedule. I have a feeling it will be worth it.
