Quassy Update

I had an awesome day at Rev3 in Quassy!!  I'm a little concerned it may have been a little too much fun in the hot sun, so this is going quick so I can put my legs up and decompress before my race tomorrow.

Kel raced his first olympic race today, and killed it!!  He was 66th overall and 9 out of 61 in his very difficult age group!

Pre-race excitement!

Kel (with orange goggles on his head) contemplating the swim.
I think he might have been praying too!

Out of the swim and onto the bike in 30 minutes!!

I volunteered at the Team Trakkers aid station with Mama Bear, extraordinaire, Carole Sharpless.

I was so excited when Kel ran by, this is what my photo ended up looking like.
I'm pretty sure I was jumping up and down!

But, I was able to hold it steady for the strong finish, right behind my teammate, Ryan.

The best part of a race for sure!!

Besides spending some time at the aid station, I also got to hang out with the beautiful Trakkers girls at the Trakkers booth!!

Seriously, how cute are we??

I finished up the afternoon by checking Buttercup into transition.  Doesn't she look gorgeous?

How cool is it that my name is at my transition spot?

If you were wondering, I did decide to go ahead and race in the Athena division.  You can follow me online.  Just go to this page, and click on Rev3 Quassy Half. I'm off around 7:15.

Have a great night!!
