Well, all in all, it was a good week. I switched some workouts around which, I found out today, is not a good idea. Why? Because you get behind really quick if you start rearranging. It would have been fine, but we got at least 2 feet of snow last night, and it was about 10 degrees and windy outside, and, as you know, I am not that hard core. So the run was out, unless, Kel could get the electrical stuff figured out to get our new-to-us treadmill running. (We bought a used one from the gym, and when we got it home discovered that the plug was different...then much language about amps, volts, blah-blah-blah, ensued. I, being a technical idiot, have no idea what all of that means, even after I made an earnest attempt to understand what Kel was talking about.)
Anyway, after 3 trips to Home Depot, one power outage, 2 meltdowns (no comment on who had those, but it wasn't Kel), and many hours, the treadmill was plugged in and working!! Yay, Kel...you saved the day! So I was able to finish my week, and I had a great run. We put the treamill in our unheated sunroom, and it was chilly to start, but by the end the steamy windows attested to my work.
Here are the numbers for the week:
Swim: 1h 31m - 4150 yds
Bike: 2h 24m 59s - 19.93 mi
Run: 1h 47m 56s - 11.22 mi
Total: 6h 43m 55s
Have a great week!!
