My Day in Food


A friend recently asked me to post up on the blog what I eat every day.  So I decided to do just that...in pictures (and a few words.)  I had so much fun doing it today, I might just do it every day this week.  It really made me think twice about what I put in my mouth, that's for sure!

Breakfast:

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie and French Press decaf with evaporated milk (I had 2 cups of coffee.)



Post Morning Workout:

Cinnamon Bun Larabar and some locally made apple-cinnamon crackers (no sugar).



Lunch at Chicago Uno Grill:

Cuban Black Bean and Lentil Soup and salad (I only ate 1/2 of the breadstick).


Grande Non-fat Latte (My latest addiction)



A yummy honeycrisp snack.



Dinner of baked fish with cracker crumb topping, butternut squash "fries", and steamed broccoli.



Post Evening Masters Swim:  Chunks of Energy

    Eggs, grits, strawberries with vanilla yogurt and a handful of mini chocolate chips for dinner.

  2. Yummy! I made a delicious black bean soup in the crockpot. Happy to share the recipe if you'd like it. Very easy, very low fat and lots of good stuff!
