100!! with the Sunday Report

This is my 100th post. I can't believe it! Thanks to everyone who keeps up with all of my craziness.

In an effort not to disappoint...here is another one of my mishaps.

My cycle shoes stink really bad!! I can't even bring them into the house they smell so bad, so I posted on Beginner Triathlete asking for suggestions to rid them of the stench. The best one was to wash them in the dishwasher on the top rack (with nothing else in there, of course.). So this morning before we left for church, I unloaded the clean dishes and loaded in my reeking cycle shoes. I decided to put regular dish soap in instead of the dishwashing tablets we normally use, because those things are expensive, and I didn't think my shoes would benefit from the Jetdry ball.

Anyway, when we came home from church, the kitchen floor was literally covered with suds!! (I failed as a blogger by cleaning up before I took a picture, so please kindly use your imagination.) Kel got a little freaked out when he saw it, which is why I started cleaning up right away.

So the lessons learned were that cleaning bike shoes in the dishwasher does work, but only put dish soap in if the floor really needs to be cleaned.

As you all know, housekeeping is not my forte, so with clean shoes in hand and a clean floor under my feet, I rejoiced that my floor got clean without me doing much at all!!

And now for the Sunday report:

Swim: 4500.00 Yd 1h 51m 34s
Bike: 82.12 Mi 5h 49m 46s
Run: 18.93 Mi 3h 00m 01s

Total: 10h 41m 21s

Not really sure how I ended up with 10 hours since this was supposed to be a recovery week, but I don't feel like I did that much if that counts for anything!

Musselman is in three weeks...have I said that before? Happy Training!
