Hello, friends!! It was a beautiful week here in Central New York. The sun was out, it was warm (mostly), and I was able to ride outside twice!!
Here are the numbers:
Swim: 3900.00 Yd 1h 26m
Bike: 80.52 Mi 6h 27m 17s
Run: 20.34 Mi 3h 19m 43s
Total: 11h 13m (I think I might have even impressed myself with this number!)
Flossing update: I haven't given a flossing update in a while, because it has been going so well (and might be perceived as a bit boring!). This past week we ran out of floss, and I really noticed. I missed 2 days, and couldn't even believe how much I missed it. Yes, you can change for the better if you really try.
Next Sunday, I have my first race of the season--the Mountain Goat Run, a ten-mile road race that is quite a challenge (as you might have guessed from the name.) I've only done it once before, and that was two years ago. I should definitely be faster this time.
I am offically registered for the Rev3Tri in Connecticut, June 7! I'm so excited. I kind of wish I was racing the whole thing instead of doing a relay, but the bike would definitely have been a stretch for me. Maybe next year! It will be nice to do the swim and run and test out fitness for those two legs.
That's all for now! Have a great week.
